Small Groups

Small groups are an extremely important part of the life at SIF. Small groups provide a way for us to connect. Small groups help us connect with other people from SIF – building relationships and supporting one another. Small groups also help us connect with God as we study the Bible together and strive to make it a part of our lives. God designed us to live out our faith in community. We just can’t do it by ourselves!

Small groups are an important part of the life of any church. But even more so at SIF because of the nature of expat life here in Suzhou. We need the support and encouragement from other believers even more during our time as expats.

If you are already a member of a small group great! Do everything you can to be fully committed to the life of the group and the lives of the other members.

If you are not part of a small group, consider joining an existing group. SIF sponsors a number of groups meeting around Suzhou at various times / places. Take a look at the description of each group on the right side of this page and contact the group leader if you are interested in attending. We would love to meet you!

You can also consider starting a new small group. Maybe you already have a group of friends you would like to meet with regularly to study the Bible together. We would love to help you get started! For any questions about starting or joining an SIF small group, please contact our small group coordinator by contacting Kurt at elders@thesif.org.

Like in Hebrews 10: 24-25, we hope that through the fellowship we share, we can spur one another toward love and good deed. Our meeting place is near Rainbow Walk by Jinji Lake.
