Encounter is a new creative worship conference, designed for you to grow your creative gifts through worship.  This is our first year so we will focus on music, with workshops for leaders, musicians, sound teams and songwriters.  If you feel like you don’t fit into one of those categories but want to learn more about creative worship, just come and try.  Encounter is also designed to build connections and encourage friendships.  This year Encounter is hosted by SIF (Suzhou International Fellowship).

Why?

We want to encounter God, to develop a relationship with him.  We were created to worship God and our God is a creative God. He has given us creative gifts, we need to develop.  What better way to develop our creativity than worship?

Who?

Encounter is for Christians who want to grow in their creativity to worship our Lord Jesus.  This year is for musician, in coming years we hope to open workshops in Dance, Drama, Creative Writing, Visual Arts in addition to Music focused workshops.

Youth are welcome to participate with their youth leader or parent or permission from parents/Guardian.  Unfortunately we will not have child care facilities this year.

When?

Thursday 4th April – Saturday 6th April If you are not serving on the 7th April at your home church, you are welcome to join SIF’s service.

Cost?

Early bird (before March 15th 2019) 500rmb.  After March 16th 600rmb. If you can only come 1 day the cost is 300rmb before March 15th or 400rmb after March 16th.

The price includes, the venue, 3 dinners, 2 lunches, and workshops.

Accommodation will be additional depending on the option you choose.
