Prayer

SIF seeks to be a community of prayer for each other, the broader church and the world. Prayer has great power when coupled with faith.

As Matthew 21:22 tells us, “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

Prayer should be part of our daily walk, like I Thessalonians 5:16-18 commands,“ Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

And finally, we are to engage in prayer for our brothers and sisters as a way of lifting them up, as James 5:16 describes, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

If you would like to be part of regular intercessory prayer meetings, or if you need prayer for anything, please reach out to us at prayers@thesif.org
